It’s been a while since I’ve written a brief blog for the YARRA 3DX website. However, things have been very busy over at the Indiegogo YARRA 3DX page. We’re creeping very close to $1,000,000 in funds raised for this amazing sound bar. No sound bar has ever come close to this level of support and we thank all of you! If you’re interested in owning your own YARRA 3DX and have not yet backed out campaign, you can join the over 2500 anxious backers at: Indiegogo YARRA 3DX.
We had a great time at the 2018 CES Show in Las Vegas, won some awards at Showstoppers, and garnered a few great reviews.
Richard Lawler of Engadget said, “I had a brief experience with some demo material before the Showstoppers event became too crowded, and came away impressed. Comhear’s claim is that it can deliver a headphone-like localized sound experience and it truly delivered, even in a room not suited to high-quality audio.”
Tom Samiljan of Men’s Journal included the YARRA 3DX in his list of Top Ten cool gadgets and electronics at the show. He wrote, “This soundbar uses an ingenious, uncanny, and game-changing digital sound field modeling technique it calls MyBeam to pinpointedly blast everything from stereo to 7.1 surround sound directly to your ear, as well as the same optimized effect to up to two other listeners in other parts of the room.”
And we walked away with an “Innovation Award” from IHS Markit for best audio technology.
